Welcome to Transition PEC! Join us in taking positive action against Peak Oil and Climate Change. Help to make Prince Edward County a sustainable community for the future.
How can I participate? You might start by sensing what contributions or services you would most like to bring out of yourself, and what transitions you most would like to see here in Prince Edward County. What makes you feel enthusiastic? For example, you might like to initiate certain directions in your neighbourhood, or join forces with people who already are taking these directions. You may have a passion for urban gardening, biking, or solar energy that you would like to share. It's all about sharing practical solutions on a local scale.
How can I learn more? Start by reviewing David Holmgren's Permaculture Principles. Additional reading materials are listed in the left column under 'What to Read'.

We are posting a video of Andrew Harvey, author of The Hope, with Carolyn Baker who wrote Sacred Demise, the book our reading group used so successfully with last year. Her latest book is Navigating the Coming Chaos: a handbook for inner transition. I would love to read this book with a group. Any takers? Roz
